Nearly one month after his death, the hardest working man in showbiz is yet to find a resting place. HHC has learned that James Brown’s body has been relocated from his Beech Island, S.C., home where it had been since December 30, to a temporary site, but his lawyer isn’t disclosing the new location.
Brown’s estate trustee and counsel Buddy Dallas declined to offer any explanations for the relocation. He, however, said that Brown’s final resting place had not yet been selected.
James Brown’s six adult children are planning to put the body in a mausoleum, according to widespread reports.
The dynamic Godfather of Soul died on December 25, 2006. He was 73 years old.
