Revered R&B diva Whitney Houston claims she has overcome her trouble past and is ready for a comeback. Houston has her eyes set on a special comeback concert in Malaysia next month, where she’s expected to preview some songs from a long-awaited new album. The one-shot performance will take place in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, on December 1.
In recent times, the 44-year-old singer’s personal life seems to have overshadowed her comeback efforts. Her marriage to fellow R&B icon Bobby Brown ended in a divorce, and her battle with drug addiction hasn’t helped either. But Houston’s friends hope the new album will help her find her voice again.
She’s said to be working with the likes of Ne-Yo, Will.I.Am, and John Legend on the upcoming album .
