Why Can’t A Successful Black Woman Find A Man? Check out this Nightline episode with Sherri Shepard, Steve Harvey, Hill Harper and other panelist about black men dating outside of their race and black women expectations. I thought it was funny and educational at the same time. Its funny that little Hill Harper likes the big joints I got love for them too just funny because he’s a small dude and wait until you see who played him.
I’m say it black women can’t find a man because they are not looking if you ask me. I take it that back women are dreaming when they are looking for a man. Men come with flaws and especially black men because sometimes we have to go left to do right. Why is it that black men get compared to Denzel Washington whenever black people talk relationships? You never see women of other races complaining about their men in public. I was the only man in a house full of women my whole life and I can assure you black women are not the easiest people to be around at times.
I have dated outside my race and I realize there is nothing in the world like a sister. I would date outside my race again in a heartbeat but there are some qualities that can only be found in a sister. I hear this potential thing a lot coming out of black women mouth. I wonder how many potential good black men have these black women ignored or lied to about having a man, or just flat out played because he didn’t pass the eye test on the spot. Maybe black men date outside their race because they are tired of the screening process they go through with black women.
According to the Journal of Blacks in Higher Education, at least 60 percent of black students who get awarded college degrees are women. Black women make up 71 percent of black graduate students. According to a recent Yale study, 42 percent of African-American women have yet to be married, compared to only 23 percent of white women. The 2000 U.S. Census counted 1.8 million more African-American women than black men.
