Because some idiot in Hollywood thought it would be a good idea to cast her in the movie Battleship, based on the board game.  Better yet who is the idiot who though Battleship, the game, would be a great plot line for a movie?  I see this ship sinking even before it starts.  At least Rihanna has her wax statue.
