Yelawolf is one of my favorite artists out right now. His Trunk Muzik 0-60 is absolute fire, and I highly recommend that you pick yourself up a copy. Wolf is a great story teller rapper, a skill that I feel like is under appreciated these days. Perfect example is the below song, “Swagger Killer”.

Sounding like a Duck Dynasty Eminem, Yelawolf plinks and darts on this spaghetti suspense instrumental. But rather than cooperate with this thrillingly minute beat by cruising into it, Yela lets free with his verbal armies. The landscape of his new sound is grassy and distilled like old shine.
