Former Fugee front man Wyclef Jean is yet another name to add to the long list of celebs who use music that they don’t have permission to sample. A suit was filed in a Manhattan court saying that the Haitian Ambassador had sampled the track Danger by Rap duo Blazhay Blazhay in his Welcome to the East joint back in 2007.
Blazhay Blazhay also named Sony BMG in the suit as they make claim for unspecified damages. What is with these artists who think they can get away with this and not have to cough up? You are using someone’s work, at least give them the credit. No wonder Wyclef’s finances are allegedly in trouble when moves like this are being made.

he shouldn’t have done this in the first place. This is what you get for using other peoples work.
