His third solo tape of the year.

Continuing today’s “New Music Friday”, NBA YoungBoy has come through yet again with another mixtape, Realer.

His third solo mixtape of 2018, Realer cements YoungBoy’s status as one of the year’s hardest workers, having also put out a compilation series, 4Respect 4Freedom 4Loyalty 4WhatImportant, and the collaborative mixtape Kane & O-Dog with VL Deck.

Realer is a 12-track effort that explores the palpable authenticity of NBA YoungBoy. Largely a featureless endeavor, save for the Lil Baby and Plies-assisted “Cross Me”, Realer demonstrates NBA’s uncanny ability to single-handedly maintain the listener’s attention, creating an environment of suspense bourne out of curiosity. With each passing track, we peel back the dense layers of YoungBoy’s troubled mind, learning more about what makes him one of the game’s most intriguing and talented figures.
