Even without putting on a show, as his partner in crime was banned from the UK Diddy still went ahead with the after party anyway. And oh boy Sean knows how to party. So as Snoop was reported to be kicking in in Amsterdam…hmm wonder what you were doing there Snoop, Diddy was playing perfect host at the Paper Club in London buying drinks for all the girls, Sienna Miller and Fergie included. (Sidenote on Fergie…she was celebrating her 32nd birthday….purrlease who is she trying to kid. Jonesy needs to stop hunting for documents about Beyonce’s real age and work on Fergie) No Kimmy though…maybe she was recovering from the 30 hours of Tantric sex Diddy boasted about earlier in the week while in Paris.

This once may surprise you: Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry once tried to commit suicide over her failed marriage with baseball star David Justice.
Berry, who has now ruled out future marriage possibilities, recently told Parade magazine that she attempted to gas herself when her marriage to Justice collapsed.
“I was sitting in my car, and I knew the gas was coming when I had an image of my mother finding me,” she tells Parade.
Berry goes on to say that the image of her mother Judith, now 67, was enough to change her mind. “She sacrificed so much for her children, and to end my life would be an incredibly selfish thing to do. It was all about a relationship. My sense of worth was so low,” Berry says. “I promised myself I would never be a coward again.”
The “berry beautiful” Halle also labeled her subsequent marriage, to R&B singer Eric Benet, as “really horrific.”
“We were in sex rehab after one year. I wish I had left then, but I was putting everyone’s needs before mine,” says the 40-year old actress.

Dave Chappelle will reunite with his Chappelle Show accomplice Paul Mooney on a BET pilot dubbed “Judge Mooney.” Chappelle dons the producer’s hat for the new show, which shows Mooney reenacting real court cases.
“Whatever I say goes,” said Mooney. “I’ve also got a little dog that sits on my judge’s desk, and I ask the little dog’s opinion. If the dog barks, I say, ‘Well, the dog says you have to go.’ It’s real crazy.”
Mooney, who played psychic Negrodamus on The Chappelle Show, has now placed a permanent moratorium on the controversial N-word he once used as a stand-up comedian.
“Using the word, we were trying to defuse it, trying to desensitize people to it … take the power out of it,” Mooney said. “But the word is an equal-opportunity word now, with Latin kids and white kids saying it and what it conjures up is all these demons. I watched
the Michael Richards meltdown over and over, and I had an ‘N’-exorcism. And I don’t care how you spell it, with an ‘a’ or an ‘er,’ if you sauté or barbecue a goat, it’s still a goat. But I was married to the word then — now I’m divorced from the word.”
Well, it’s the least he could do after decades of making some big bucks off the N-word.

Well it turns out that Olivia has been dropped from G Unit, HOWEVER it has not been confirmed in any way that the reason she has been dropped is to do with her turning down offers from her label mates and her boss like the myspace page said. I noticed that a little note has gone up on the page since yesterday saying ’4 True Olivia Fanz ! This is not Olivia just a fan page .But I do work closely with Olivia’s
Team’. What team does Olivia have though, that is what I am curious to know.

Chris Brown just finished touring with Beyonce on the other side of the world and it looks like he might be taking a music break for the movies. Screen Gems has tapped Brown to star in Phenom, a story about a young basketball player who just turned pro and found out that he’s the illegitimate son of an aging NBA star. They then find themselves going head to head in the NBA Playoffs.
There’s no word on when production will start or when they plan to release the film. This will be Brown’s third film for Screen Gems, the first was “Stomp the Yard” which came out last year. The second is “This Christmas” which will hit theatres in November.

Well according to some fake looking myspace page, Olivia the only female signed to G-Unit has been dropped from the label. The reason she has been dropped according to this page isn’t because she can’t sing but because she has refused the advances of her G Unit brethren. So when she said ‘no no no’ Curtis allegedly said ‘go go go.’ These lil fake myspace pagers really need to get out of the house some.

Scarface has mentored many of today’s most prominent southern rappers, including Ludacris and Devin the Dude, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone that ‘Face is now ushering in the new wave of hip-hop via a Texas collective known as Green City.
Scarface discovered Green City, comprised of 7 members – Spark Dawg, Mike Hee, Yung Texxus, MJ, J. Scott, Big Spade and G-Ni, while working out at his local gym in Houston. Two Pro-boxers, also at the gym that day, had attended high school with the members of Green City and were working out to the group’s music. Scarface approached them to find out what single they were playing. Thinking they were already signed, Scarface was ready to go out and buy their album. When he found out that they were a local group from Killeen, TX who did not have a record deal, Face was so impressed by their skills, he was ready to sign Green City on the spot.
“I am the best in the business when it comes to finding raw talent,” said Scarface. “I brought Chamillionaire, Paul Wall, Lil’ Flip and TI to Def Jam, but they didn’t bite. I end up going to Killeen TX and found Green City. They are on some different shit, something you’ve never heard before. I stepped out of the box for Green City because they bring a new flavor; they just do what they do.”
The southern stalwart, who recently established his own label, Underground Railroad, after many years of dealing with the majors, will oversee the release of Green City’s Brand New Money sometime this year.

Is it too soon to be making another Iraq war movie? Columbia Pictures doesn’t think so. They’ve tapped your favorite actor’s favorite black actor Denzel Washington to produce and possibly star in a movie inspired by the writings of a soldier killed in Iraq.
The movie, Journal for Jordan, is centered around a 200-page journal written by 1st Sgt. Charles Monroe King, for his unborn son. The soldier left words of wisdom to his son on how to live a proper life and to prepare him for a life without his father.
The 48-year-old soldier was killed in Baghdad in October, one month shy of finishing his tour of duty. He had left for the Middle East before his son was born.

Not very many people knew what was going on with Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes (of TLC) when she was down in Honduras, but VH1 will try to shed some light on what really happened. In the documentary, ‘Last Days of Left Eye’, producer and director Lauren Lazin (Tupac Resurrection) uncovers video filmed by Lopes during her month-long withdraw in Central America.
There are also interviews with friends and family as well as Lopes herself talking into her own camera. There’s no word on when VH1 will air the documentary this summer, but in the past year or so the film has been making the festival circuit, last shown at the SXSW Music Festival. The film will be shown again at the Atlanta Film Festival on April 25.

Dave Chappelle hasn’t totally given up on television. He’s hooking up with comedian Paul Mooney, who was on his “Chappelle Show” as Negrodamus, for a pilot for an HBO show called “Judge Mooney.” The show will have Mooney reenacting actual court cases that have already been decided but in a Paul Mooney style.
"Whatever I say goes,” Mooney told the L.A. Daily News. “I’ve also got a little dog that sits on my judge’s desk, and I ask the little dog’s opinion. If the dog barks, I say, ‘Well, the dog says you have to go.’ It’s real crazy."
Mooney recently made headlines after he announced that he will no longer use the ‘N-word’ in his stand-up performances. Even though he used to work with Richard Pryor and used the word freely, things have changed.
"Using the word, we were trying to defuse it, trying to desensitize people to it … take the power out of it," Mooney said. "But the word is an equal-opportunity word now, with Latin kids and white kids saying it, and what it conjures up is all these demons. I watched the Michael Richards meltdown over and over, and I had an ‘N’-exorcism. And I don’t care how you spell it, with an ‘a’ or an ‘er,’ if you sauté or barbecue a goat, it’s still a goat. But I was married to the word then — now I’m divorced from the word."
