After partying the night away at the VMAs over in Los Angeles last night, Weezy obviously didn’t mind how much it costs in gas to get him across country via private jet to make sure he kept his date this morning. He was due in court in Manhattan to answer charges relating to weapons posession this morning and surprisingly enough, he made it. I dont think the judge would have allowed him a pass after being seen all over the TV last night and then failed to show up today so Weezy gets the attendance star today.

A woman was stretchered out of a Three 6 Mafia concert last night and two people arrested as a fight broke out at the LA House of Blues where the ‘Hollyhood’ rappers were performing. Allegedly a woman had her leg broken as a result of the stampede which ensued once the LAPD entered the building to shut the concert down. DJ Paul and Juicy J moved out to Hollywood after winning their Oscar for the track It’s Hard Out Here for a Pimp from the movie Hustle and Flow in  2006. DJ Paul even informed IHipHop.com in a previous interview that he found the people of Hollywood ‘very welcoming and actually enjoyed the way of living out West. ‘

If you aren’t familiar with the infamous Lola Love then you must be surfing the net with your eyes closed as this chick is everywhere. Anyhow turns out Miss Love is going to be appearing a long side G Unit’s boss man 50 Cent in his new movie Before I Self-Destruct. The movie is said to directed and produced by 50 who made his acting debut in  Get Rich or Die Trying  back in 2005 which was directed by Jim Sheridan.

It is close to seventy years since the Hollywood Palladium first opened its doors. The venue was the place that encouraged the careers of artists like Frank Sinatra and performers such as the Rolling Stones and James Brown as well as holding high profile parties for the likes of John F Kennedy and dare I say in the same breath as JFK, Paris Hilton and Lyndsey Lohan. The 4,000 capacity venue was leased to Live Nation back in 2007 and the company decided to make some changes to the iconic venue in an attempt to restore the art-deco inspired building to its former glory. So who better to hit the stage on the opening night on October 15th but Live Nation’s very own poster boy Jay Z. “Just as Frank ushered in a golden era, I hope this opening will mark the beginning of a resurgence in generation-defining live music,” said Brooklyn’s finest.

LAPD, yeah we all know what those guys are like, stopped a car being driven by one of Puffy’s boys this past weekend while the Didster and his entourage were cruising down Sunset. The car which wasnt tagged correctly alerted the watchful eyes of the LAPD and the stopped the vehicle to check it out. Upon seeing their boy being stopped and questioned Puffy and a couple of others from the second vehicle walked over to see just what the issue was, (you know how New Yorkers be on their guard when dealing with the LAPD)  for the cops to pull a gun on Diddy and those with him. Allegedly the cops didnt realize that Diddy was part of the group who had approached nonthreatening and with extreme caution, but once they realized it was in fact Sean Combs it was high fives all round, autographs were signed and everyone went on their way peacefully.

Looks like Faith Evans is ready to talk on one about her involvement with Tupac in her new book. The incident that encouraged Tupac to insinuate that he had infact messed around with Biggies then wife on camera will be cleared up by Faith who has always denied any physical involvement with her late husbands nemesis. According to the autobiography, Tupac did proposition Evans on more than one occasion but Faith refused all advances validating Faith’s theory that Tupac was using her name in his war against Biggie. Her book is in stores now.

Not quite sure what or who Diddy is doing over at MTV but they may as well give him his own channel as he has already another show in the works called Starmaker which will give a male and female artist a spot on the Bad Boy roster. Auditions are being held in Hollywood on the 6th of September for anyone interested.

It has been confirmed that the legendary Isaac Hayes died from a stroke this past weekend. The soul icon had suffered a stroke in 2006 due to high blood pressure but had made a full recovery. A memorial service for the star will be held on Monday in the Hope Presbyterian Church in Cordova, Tennessee.

Yesterdays GUESS WHO was in fact Lil Kim, Turns out the (former) rapper might be taking a new direction for her somewhat stale career and is thinking about posing for the December center spread in Playboy magazine. This has yet to be confirmed by Kim’s camp but you have to admit, that check might be the best one Kim has seen in a minute.

Hollywood heavyweight Morgan Freeman was involved in a serious car accident last night which had the Shawshank Redemption actor airlifted to a Memphis hospital. As of now there are no reports as to the condition of Freeman and the female passenger who was in the vehicle with him at the time. King of Comedy Bernie Mac is also in a serious condition according to media this weekend. The funny man is currently in a Chicago hospital being treated for pneumonia. The illness is not related to sarcodosis, which Mac was diagnosed with  back in 1983. Sarcodosis is an immune system disorder which targets young adults.
