Childish Gambino’s DJ Drama hosted Gangsta Grillz mixtape is here. That’s right, you read that correctly: a Childish Gambino Gangsta Grillz mixtape. Hip-hop has really come a looong way from Lil Wayne spitting over the now infamous “Cannon” beat to Gambino. STN MTN finds Donald Glover’s rap alter ego Childish Gambino utilizing the platform as a half mixtape/half EP. For the STN MTN portion of the project Gambino will freestyle over some notable beats including “Move That Dope” and “Southern Hospitality” alongside original material. There’s also a concept at play here, something about money made from the EP keeping Kauai clean? Who truly knows when you’re dealing with Gambino. Stream/download STN MTN after the jump.
