MUSIC: FOKIS PRODUCED BY FOCUS FEAT MISTAH FAB AND YOUNG DRE THA TRUTH

This is what happens when the East and the West come together over aAftermath producer Focus’s intricate production. Nice to see him take time out from Detox to work on an entire EP entitled 20/20 with his Lower East Side namesake. Track is pure fire so I am sure we will be seeing a lot more from Fokis. LLOYD BANKS TEASING FANS

Yet another track has been leaked from the up and coming Lloyd Banks mixtape which has LB stans going crazy. The track called Finally can be heard by clicking the link inside.Terminate on Sight might not have done the numbers everyone hoped over there at G Unit, but for all the haters and critics that said they were done, listening to this joint you better think again as it sounds like Banks is far from done. http://rs311.rapidshare.com/files/135425919/lloyd_banks-finally.mp3

GET READY FOR JOE BUDDEN OCT 28th

After his highly publicized departure from Def Jam, it appears that Joe Budden is ready to rub salt in the labels faces with the projects he has in the works. His tenure at the label will always be to many Hip-Hop aficionados a total waste of five years for the New Jersey lyricist. His next album Padded Room, which is being released through Amalgam will be available in both digital and CD format and will feature the Touch and Go track which was released earlier this year. The track garnered mixed reviews from fans, some of which were disappointed that Joe had recorded something more suitable for the club than the streets, but here at IHipHop…we love the joint and can’t wait to check out the video which will be hitting the net next month.

Feeling Blue? New Track from Blu & TiRon

Rapper Blu has long been making quality music with his partner DJ/producer Exile, and they are currently getting some attention on the Internet and their fame is finally picking up. The duo is from LA and constantly tour the country, so if you get a chance go check out Blu & Exile when they come through your town. Today, rapper Blu dropped a track with TiRon, entitled “All the King’s Men.” Blu is a true lyricist and gospel-inspired rapper and this track definitely resonates that. Hype Williams Gets Cold

Famed 38-year-old video director Hype Williams has worked with everyone from Jay-Z to Snoop to Mary J. and Q-Tip. Now, the director who has made a living of staying specifically in the hip-hop/r&b genres, has finally stepped out of that box and recently signed on to direct Coldplay’s new video for “Viva La Vida.” The song is incredible, and definitely anthemic, and only someone like Hype could bring out all the qualities that make the song unbelievable. Check it out below and let us know what you think about Hype directing rock videos. Coldplay – “Viva La Vida” Video

GUESS WHO

We been waiting for an album from this gal for quite a while, but it looks like we might be getting it before the year is out.

Maino Teams up with Heavyweights

Brooklyn-bred rapper Maino recently released the obnoxiously infectious “Hi Hater,” and is awaiting the release of his debut on Atlantic Records. Though his rhymes on the single are far from average (not in a good way), I guess he figured pulling some known artists in for the remix would work in his favor. And…it did. Though I am by no means a fan of Maino’s (Note: According to an interview with GIANT Magazine, he spent a decade in prison on kidnapping charges), the remix goes pretty hard. Download it below, and enjoy. Maino feat. Swizz Beatz, Plies, Jadakiss, Fabolous, Plies – “Hi Hater Remix”

Even More Hotness from Freeway

A couple days ago, I mentioned Freeway had just leaked a new freestyle over an old Ray Cash beat, and Free is right back at it. There are rumors floating around that Free is prepping a new album called Freedom of Speech, so all of these leaks are starting to make sense. Free is definitely consistent with his flow and uses his raspy voice to its fullest value. Check out a new track from Free, “Will I Ever Be,” below. Freeway – “Will I Ever Be”
