Damn! According to the NY Post he’s that guy. A Mega rep told us: “We have never received any word that any artist has [individually] filed a take-down . . . [we have] legally binding agreements with the performers that appear in the video . . . They promised that they had the rights to enter into that agreement and it’s not interfering with any third-party rights.
The Grammys haven’t had an official host in seven years. But this year they’ve named LL Cool J as this year’s MC. The 54th Grammy Awards will air February 12th at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. “I’m thrilled to be part of Music’s Biggest Night. Rather than getting the album on January 30, we will now just be getting two tracks on iTunes. Dot Da Genius took to his Twitter to reveal his collaborative Rock album with CuDi will now drop on February 28. Hey Guys, WZRD Update. Me and Cudi have been working on our debut album and it’s almost near completion. We are in the final stages of mastering but we really had to take time and pay attention to the sonics as this is new territory for us. With that being said, we have decided to change the release date. We are looking roughly at Feb 28th. Y’all know how Cudi is’ and I’m the same way. Everything has to be in place and now it is. I know it’s late notice, we were trying to keep the date but got wrapped up making this album perfect for y’all. However for making you guys wait a little longer we will release ‘Brake‘ & ‘Teleport 2 Me‘ on iTunes on the previously said date. AS WELL AS ‘DOSE OF DOPENESS’. Hopefully that will hold you guys over until the album drops!
The G.O.O.D. Music album is underway in London. Yeezy and his crew are flying in different producers and artists to a private location across the pond. Earlier today, Pusha T posted a few images of the magic happening to his Tumblr.
Lil Wayne is offering a literary tour of his prison days. Grand Central Publishing has announced that the company will publish Gone Till November, a compilation of the rapper’s diaries that he kept during his eight months spent in 2010 on Rikers Island on a gun charge. Scheduled for a Nov. 28 release, in time for the holiday season, Gone Till November will offer a firsthand account of Lil Wayne’s experience in prison. “We are thrilled to be publishing Wayne’s prison memoir,” said Ben Greenberg, executive editor at Grand Central Publishing. “He kept detailed journals of his inner and outer life while he was on Rikers Island, and they certainly tell a story. They are revealing.” The journals detail his thoughts and feelings, the people he met, his plans, his family, his children, his past and his future.
