A conceptual version of Ford’s SYNC connectivity system allows driver and passengers to customize the functions to their needs. Still another concept, based on the upcoming Ford C-MAX Energi powertrain, will “cloud-optimised” the PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) functions. In other words, the system will split between all-gasoline, all-electric, or hybrid modes in real-time according to road conditions automatically.
