I guess when you make the money that Sean Combs makes you can afford to open your mouth and then retract your words without people really paying you no mind. Here is what Diddy had to say on the previous video blog he posted about the Republican Presidential Candidates choice of VP where he dissed Alaska too, as well as John McCain’Diddys choice of running mate

To add to the promotion of Young Jeezy’s third solo album The Recession, which hit stores nationwide yesterday, he and his CTE label mates and staff will host a voter registration drive on Thursday (September 4). The CTE Voter Registration drive will be held at Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Justin’s Restaurant in Atlanta. In addition, Jeezy will also join in the process, by registering to vote for the very first time during this year’s presidential election.Additional reporting by Rashaan Meador

Bristol Palin, the 17-year-old daughter of Republican Vice President Nominee Sarah Palin, is pregnant and will keep the baby and marry the father.  John McCain was aware of her pregnancy before he chose her mother for his running mate. This might be another strike at the reasoning and judgment of McCain’s controversial decision.  They are obviously pro-choice, but they really need some lessons on birth control. Congrats!

When Palin was asked about the VP spot recently, she said the following in an interview with CNBC:

But as for that VP talk all the time, I’ll tell you, I still can’t answer that question until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the VP does everyday? I’m used to being very productive and working real hard in an administration. We want to make sure that that VP slot would be a fruitful type of position, especially for Alaskans and for the things that we’re trying to accomplish up here for the rest of the U.S., before I can even start addressing that question.”

Thoughts anyone…..

Fat Joe

Looks like Fat Joe is disgusted with Daddy Yankee’s endorsement of Senator John McCain. The Bronx rapper has in a recent interview with MTV denounced the Reggaeton superstar for supporting the Republican candidate in the run for the Presidency.

Joe even went as far to say that he would quite happily sit down and school Daddy Yankee on the subject of politics as he believed the remarks came from him out “for a look,” or the fact that he is “not educated on politics.”

Joe like many other artists and entertainment stars have all been in Denver for the Democratic Convention which saw Chicago Senator Barack Obama make his speech last night in front of 75,000 people. Obama who made his speech 45 years to the date since Martin Luther King made his ‘I have a dream speech ‘ had the crowd on their feet with his words of unity and change for his country. “America, we cannot turn back,”  Obama said. “We cannot walk alone. At this moment, in this election, we must pledge once more to walk into the future.”

Today marks the 45th anniversary for the day Martin Luther King delivered his ‘I have a dream speech’ at the Lincoln Memorial during the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom back in 1963. The speech was without a shadow of a doubt one of the most poignant of the twentieth century and one which signified a defining chapter in th Civil Rights Movement.

Tonight will also see the new hope for America Barack Obama address the Democrat Party at the convention in Denver Colorado with his interpretation of ‘change’ and what can and will be done for the country with the Democrats at the helm once again. Last night Bill Clinton followed the precedent set by his wife and former runner in the race for the Whitehouse, Hilary, in declaring support for the Chicago Senator. MArtin Luther King

A local TV channel in Denver where the Democratic National Convention is taking place has reported that three arrests were made earlier this evening who authorities think might have been plotting to kill Barack Obama. Two men were stopped at a traffic stop and were found to be in possession of guns, ammo and high powered scopes. Assumed to be white supremacists the dup then led the police and officials to a hotel room where a third member jumped out of a fourth floor window to avoid arrest. election

Is it a case of too little too late? Rapper Master P after being in the game for over twenty years is changing his name to P Miller. P has been doing his bit for Hip-Hop having already developed his Take a Stand label which promotes curse free lyrics with his son Romeo. The change in name comes about as the down south mogul has ventured off in new directions including teaming up with Wal Mart to promote an affordable fashionable clothing line.

Wonder if this change of name will influence his brother C Murder. master

Great to see Master P or Percy Miller getting the Key to Memphis this past weekend. Master P born Percy Miller has in his tenure in Hip-Hop given a lot of time and donated substantial amounts of money to community activism and philanthropic endeavors. It is these acts of humanity that encouraged the rapper to be honored by the city through Willie Herenton, the Mayor of Memphis at the recent Let the master pKids Grow Day held in the Tennessee city.

“No other rapper or entertainer is as committed to the community as Master P and I am proud of him,” said the Mayor when talking on the No Limits founder. “Master P changed his life and took the negativity out of his music but stayed true to the hood.” Master P and his son Romeo are very active in encouraging school children to stay in school to avoid the pull of street culture and lives of drugs and crime.
