Two years since he released his Inspiration album, Atlanta’s prodigal son Young Jeezy has announced that his new project The Recession will be available on September 2nd. To promote the release, ?uest will be performing and DJ’ing at ALIFE in NYC on August 1st, UBIQ in Philly on August 5th and Undefeated in LA on August 7th. Check out the new kicks below.
Famed mixtape DJ Mick Boogie has recently hosted a slew of tapes with artists like Little Brother, Talib Kweli, Young Chris and Busta Rhymes. Amidst his DJ duties, Boogie took a break to head to the Nike headquarters and was apparently inspired by the visit. Boogie and 6th Sense joined forces to create the 9-track “Just Do It: A Mixtape Ode to Nike,” which features freestyles over Just Blaze’s “Team USA” track and Wale’s Though the tape is rather short, the duo created and released it in just two days (pretty good turnaround time).
Check out “Just Do It” right here and let us know what you think.
Now wouldn’t that be something, the Mighty O who has spoken out her show about cheating spouses/partners on many an occasion cheating on her own man? I mean it was a lil suspect when she was holidaying in Italy with her BGF Gayle and Tyler Perry. But you get used to Steadman not being around anyway, but rumors are circulating more than usual this time.
We teased y’all with a bit of thigh yesterday, here is the head shot and pleased to see the Diamond Princess is looking a lil healthier than she was in the last photoshoot I saw of her where she was resembling a stick insect…again the power of adobe I guess
Wow this mixtape is sick. I don’t even really know how to describe it besides ingenious and unconventional. I’m listening to this shit, and everyone in the office is turning their heads asking me who it is, and the answer is Kid Cudi so get familiar. Download this thing so that when he blows you can claim to be an original fan.

I mean we have pole dancing kits for kids available so what difference does an S&M barbie make? Whatever happened to dolls in long pink frilly dresses? Now we have to deal with PVC, whips and fishnets. My how times have changed.

After the New Yorker mag featured a cartoon of the future US President on it’s cover which upset quite a few people, this is what the man himself had to say to CNN…
“It’s a cartoon … and that’s why we’ve got the First Amendment,” Obama said. “And I think the American people are probably spending a little more time worrying about what’s happening with the banking system and the housing market, and what’s happening in Iraq and Afghanistan, than a cartoon. So I haven’t spent a lot of time thinking about it.”
“I’ve seen and heard worse,” he said. “I do think that in attempting to satirize something, they probably fueled some misconceptions about me instead. But that was their editorial judgment.”
