Rapper Gucci Mane was arrested in Atlanta yesterday for driving while under the influence. The So Icy rapper was busted for smoking a lil weed and then when police searched his car they uncovered a small amount of marijuana. He was released from an Atlanta jail after posting $3,000 bail.

Turns out Pharrell has made the mistake of opening his mouth a lil too wide to paparazzi about his friend Madonna. The Neptunes front man implied that the Hard Candy Madonna is indeed very good at self inflicted publicity. Tell us something we didn’t already know but I am sure Skateboard P will be knocked off the Xmas card list for that remark..or maybe not.

The platinum producer is somewhere MIA as the bank with whom he mortgaged his lavish mansion in Miami are about to foreclose on the property any day now. With over a year of unpaid mortgaged payments hanging over his head looks like the sun is setting on Storch’s once extravagant lifestyle.Storch who starting producing back in 1993 as part of the Roots has worked with various A List artists such as 50 Cent, Eve, Christina Aguillera with whom he had a dispute when the singer refused to fly him and his entourage out to work on her Back To Basics album.

Looks like pint sized rappers Jermain Dupri and his once protege Bow Wow are back to being BMFs again. Creative differences had been where the problems lay with the duo as Lil Bow Wow turned into Bow Wow however Bow Wow is adamant that JD will be on the new album ‘Pedigree’ no matter what. Bow Wow told MTV that JD was going to be on the album “even if I have to drag him.” Pedigree will be the seventh album from the rapper who got his start by being the opening act on the Chronic Tour at the age of five.

As rumors circulated the web about Jimmy Iovine being in next in the unemployment line, turns out all the stories about Curtis ‘Interscope’ Jackson being part of the problem were ….WRONG. As of now Mr Iovine still holds the Chairman job over at Interscope/Geffen/A&M and it doesn’t look like he is going anywhere soon.

This story when I heard it really bothered me. Not sure if its because it involves one of my fave live venues in NYC where I have seen many a Hip-Hop artist rock the stage to an appreciative crowd, or perhaps it is because this sh*t is happening more and more every day. Last night in NYC a group of men allegedly began a fight with Max B and his entourage as the Dipset affiliate was  performing at the legendary SOBs in lower Manhattan. During the fracas shots were fired which had revelers exiting the club pretty fast. As of now there have been no reports of injuries. Max was performing at an event organized by hot 97 the Who’s Next Event. More on this as it comes in.
