If I may make a correction to a posted statement....this IS true hip hop, not was. Masta Ase (or Ace to some) has been (and still is) one of the most underrated lyricists. Dope beats and rhymes, what more can y'all want!? And to age myself, I've been a Master Ace (or Ase) fan since The Symphony and Take A Look Around (his first album on Cold Chillin'/Warner Bros.). And for fans of the Juice Crew, there is word that they are going to make a reunion album and do some shows.
