Halloween weekend has arrived, and while the partying will certainly be curtailed relative to past years for obvious reasons, there’s still room to celebrate. To properly soundtrack your Halloweekend, DJ Forever Cold is back with another edition of the Forever Cold❄️ playlist.

A collection of heavy-hitters have come forth with new music today, arming the Forever Cold❄️ playlist with a bevy of awesome releases. Headlining today’s list are: King Von, $NOT, Busta Rhymes, Lil Durk, and Freddie Gibbs.

Starting things off with a bang, King Von has come through with his new, highly-anticipated album, Welcome To O’Block. Von’s latest album effort runs 16-tracks deep, and features fellow Chicago artists Lil Durk, Polo G, and Prince Dre, as well as Moneybagg Yo, Fivio Foreign, and Dreezy. Welcome To O’Block is the successor to King Von’s standout project, LeVon James, which was also released this year. The tracks “Why He Told” and “The Code” featuring Polo G have made this week’s list.

Next up, the enigmatic $NOT has delivered his second project of the year, Beautiful Havoc. Anchored by singles “Mean” featuring Flo Milli and “Sangria” featuring Denzel Curry, $NOT’s new album continues showcasing his versatility, as he blends elements of hip-hop and various alternative styles to formulate his unique aesthetic. The aforementioned “Sangria” and “Life” have been added to this week’s list.

Taking a detour from today’s most promising bubbling stars, the certified OG Busta Rhymes has come through with his first album in eight-years, Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God. Busta’s 10th studio album, ELE2 is the official sequel to its 1998 predecessor. Considering his legendary status and cachet, it should come as no surprise that Busta is the only artist to receive a 2020 feature from Kendrick Lamar, “Look Over Your Shoulder,” which has made this week’s list. Other features include: Rakim, Pete Rock, Bell Biv Devoe, Q-Tip, Rick Ross, Anderson .Paak, among others.

Heading back up to Chicago, Lil Durk’s incredible 2020 run continues, as he’s tapped Young Thug and 6LACK for his new single, “Stay Down.” This collaboration is expected to appear on Durk’s upcoming album, The Voice

Last, but certainly not least, is Freddie Gibbs, who’s come through with a helping hand from Hit-Boy and fellow midwestern MC Big Sean on “4 Thangs.” The absolute banger of a single also comes accompanied by an entertaining, comedic music video, which features the artists celebrating a championship NBA style.

Other artists to make this week’s Forever Cold❄️ playlist include: Trippie Redd, Lil Tjay, Jay Gwuapo, French Montana, Phora, Doe Boy, Blac Youngsta, Lil Keed, and MadeinTYO.
