Featuring drops from 21 Savage and A Boogie.

The season of giving is fully upon us. And in the spirit of altruism, some of the industry’s finest have come through with their new releases: 21 Savage and A Boogie.

Both 21 and A Boogie have watched their careers skyrocket since they released their rookie albums in 2017 with Issa Album and The Bigger Artist, respectively. So it’s fitting that these two aesthetically disparate yet commercial equals chose the same day to unveil their sophomore releases: i am > i was and Hoodie SZN for 21 and Boogie, respectively.

Originally slated for a 12/7 release, 21’s album delay was announced by a terse yet funny tweet that read, “Dam I forgot to drop my album my bad y’all”. It’s all good, 21–this release makes up for the tardiness.

Joining 21 on i am > i was are J. Cole, Yung Miami, Offset, Post Malone, Gunna & Lil Baby, Project Pat & ScHoolboy Q, Childish Gambino, and his cousin, Yung Nudy.

A Boogie’s Hoodie SZN has been receiving the traditional album rollout, dropping off a collection of singles, including yesterday’s “Swervin” featuring the polarizing Tekashi 6ix9ine. Joining Tekashi as the album’s featured artists are Tyga & Offset, Juice WRLD, Queen Naija, Young Thug, Don Q & Trap Manny, Lil Quee & Quando Rondo, PnB Rock & Lil Durk, and Nav.
