Kodak’s feature marks his second 2021 offering, following his single, “Every Balmain.” Finally a free man, the Sniper Gang leader is keen on making up for lost time.
Staying below the Mason Dixon Line, hip-hop’s latest quasi father-son duo, Young Dolph and Key Glock, have linked once again on their new collaboration, “Case Closed.” The joint effort is doused in southern vibes, embodying the Memphis ethos while imparting a record that resonates. The Paper Route Empire labelmates continue demonstrating their palpable chemistry.
Heading over to Louisiana, Kevin Gates has come through with a surprise mixtape, Only The Generals Part II. A completely featureless effort, Gates’ latest work furthers his ability to meld captivating sonics with pensive lyricism, cementing his ability to straddle the difficult balance of commercial appeal and artistic integrity. His track “Raw U Out” has made today’s list.
Last, but certainly not least, Coi Leray has augmented her stand out “No More Parties” track with its Lil Durk-assisted official remix.
