Just in time to celebrate Halloween, 21 Savage has come through with an ominous new single, “Immortal.”
Produced by Kid Hazel, the new 21 offering finds him rapping on his rapid-fire flow, lacing the chilling instrumental with hubristic content; 21 knows he’s a rare artist, that he’s of an elite breed — and he has no qualms letting it be known.
Simply, 21 sounds tired of his perceived lacking competition. With a tinge of jadedness to his voice, Savage uses “Immortal” to implicitly and directly aim his lyrical cannon at all his opps who think they can stand toe-to-toe with him artistically — and personally.
