Even though Kanye West previously turned down the offer to “debate” 50 Cent on whose album is better on 106 & Park, he has agreed to go on the show on the day of his album’s release alongside 50. BET announced that bother rappers will be in the house on Tuesday, September 11, the day both of their album drop.

"I don’t think it’s a battle, I think it’s a lot of fun. I think Kanye will tell you he moved his date to 50’s date to draw this type of attention, to create this marketing opportunity," Stephen Hill, executive vice president at BET told the Associated Press. "We’re gonna have fun on Sept. 11, the only place they are going to be together."

Both artists will perform their singles and promote their albums, but don’t expect any lyrical battles. It’ll be just a bunch of friendly trash-talking.

  1. I would like to see both of’em pack they shyt up in there trunks and see who sell the most in a REAL HOOD from coast to coast. Start in B’MO, end in South Central L.A.That’s reality T.V.

  2. It would’ve been tight if they battled it out in a freestyle cipher, but they make too much money to take it back in the days of 2 turntables and a mic. They both should’ve did a freestyle session on why they’re album is the hottest. Oh well.
