With the stress of the work week fading off into the horizon of the weekend, it’s time to relax and get loose. Another couple of days of relaxation coupled with the warm summer weather is certainly cause for celebration. In order to optimize weekend festivities, you’ll of course need a suitable playlist.

DJ Forever Cold is back yet again to sift through this week’s voluminous drops, and present to you the 7/10 Forever Cold❄️ playlist. This week’s list is an eclectic one, bookmarked by bonafide stars and hungry rising artists alike; it is headlined by: Juice WRLD, Tory Lanez, Kid Cudi, Lute, Summer Walker, SahBabii, and more.

First things first, the late Juice WRLD — who tragically passed toward the end of 2019 (perhaps an overture for the schoolyard bully that is 2020) — debut posthumous album, Legends Never Die, has hit streaming services. The highly-anticipated album’s title is an accurate one, considering the indelible mark Juice’s impact left on music and his fans while alive. And even though he’s transitioned, his legacy continues to shine — his empathetic music continues comforting listeners in times of hardship. The following Juice tracks have made this week’s list: “Come & Go” featuring Marshmello; “Hate The Other Side” featuring Marshmello, Polo G, and The Kid LAROI; “Wishing Well”; and “Life’s A Mess” featuring Halsey. Rest easy, Juice.

Going up to Toronto, Tory Lanez has come through with a new EP, The VVS Capsule. While succinct by nature, this two-track punch demonstrates how Tory doesn’t need to rely on extravagance due to his transcendent, dynamic abilities. From spitting rewind-worthy bars to crooning with the best of them, The VVS Capsule is a microcosm for Tory’s diverse abilities. His track “Staccato” has made this week’s list.

Heading back to America, Kid Cudi — who’s been on a roll lately with notching his first no. 1 record in the Travis Scott-assisted “The Scotts” — has called upon fellow legend, Eminem, for the unique collaboration, “The Adventures of Moon Man & Slim Shady.” Enjoy it in this week’s Forever Cold❄️ playlist.

Next up, Dreamville’s Lute has come through with a pensive offering, “Life.” Offering his two-cents on the current state of affairs, the Atlanta artist’s new track showcases his dexterous lyricism and deft song-making abilities. Don’t sleep on Lute.

Fellow ATLien, Summer Walker, has also made her entrance into this week’s Forever Cold❄️ by way of her new EP, Life On Earth. The five-track EP is released through her LVRN label, home to 6lack, and features NO1-NOAH and PartyNextDoor. Her PND collab, “My Affection,” has made this week’s list.

This week’s Forever Cold❄️ list is inadvertently very telling of Atlanta’s dense talent pool, as SahBabii has also been included in the 7/10 Forever Cold❄️ list. While he was born in Chicago, SahBabii currently resides in Atlanta, and his sound is certainly a product of his environment. His latest album, Barnacles, dropped last week, but we’d be remiss if we didn’t include the project’s title track.

Other artists to make the 7/10 Forever Cold❄️ playlist include: Warren G, Ty Dolla $ign, StaySolidRocky, Madeon, EARTHGANG, Aminé, and Young Thug.
