Summer is officially over. But just because the season of warmth is in the rearview, doesn’t mean that the heat has to cease fire. Heading into the fourth quarter, and it seems like every major artist is trying to get their music out before the year’s end — tough for competition, but great for the fans.

Today, DJ Forever Cold is back once again applying his expert filter to the week’s bevy of drops, packaged as the 9/25 Forever Cold❄️ playlist. Headlining this week’s list are: Bryson Tiller, Travis Scott, Spillage Village, Polo G, and LBS Kee’vin.

Perhaps one of music’s most frustrating artists, Bryson Tiller is a transcendent talent — and he’s well aware. Tiller has been elusive and enigmatic since blessing listeners with his 2015 standout debut album, TRAPSOUL. Since its drop, aside from a lackluster sophomore success the Kentucky native’s release has been infrequent at best. However, he’s looking to right those wrongs, as he’s preparing for his new LP, Serenity. Today, he’s blessed patrons with an appetizer for his clamored-for album with TRAPSOUL (Deluxe), which features four additional tracks, including an outro that confirms his next LP’s existence. Tiller’s track “Rambo” (Remix” featuring The Weeknd has made this week’s list.

Taking an antithetical approach to Bryson Tiller, Travis Scott has securely been one of the industry’s more prolific artists, matching his quality with quantity. And yes, the Cactus Jack captain has also been focusing on alternative exploits, such as his McDonald’s partnership, but that doesn’t mean he’s taken his foot off the gas when it comes to music — not by a long shot. Today, La Flame has linked with Young Thug and MIA for his brand new heater, “Franchise.”

Next up, the prized collective Spillage Village has blessed listeners with their highly-anticipated album, Spilligion. A group that totes names like JID, 6LACK, EarthGang as members, the southern Dreamville affiliate puts alternative hip-hop on the commercial map. Spilligion continues their voyage into conscious hip-hop by probing societal travesties; they’re constantly aiming to reveal the injustices behind the curtain. Their track “Judas” with Chance The Rapper and Ari Lennox has made this week’s list.

Heading up to Chicago, Polo G continues his dominant run with his new release, “Epidemic.”

Last, but certainly not least, Pensacola, FL native LBS Kee’vin, who’s been enjoying a rapid 2020 ascent, has tapped the in-demand 42 Dugg on “Shining.”

Other artists to make this week include: Swae Lee, Reason, Machine Gun Kelly, BIA, and YG.
