After celebrating the release of his watershed major label debut album, Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101, over ten years ago -- Jeezy has announced a new album that will drop later this year. So far the album doesn't have a title, although it will drop in November (the 13th is the date being passed around right now) and he's sharing its first single in "GOD." "GOD" is produced by exciting new Atlanta producers TM88 and Southside, so you know it's gonna thump. Listen to Jeezy's "GOD" after the jump.
Free Offset. That's all. I can pretty much end the writeup there. But, because I'm no lazy journalist (dedication!) I'll go ahead and give you some background info. Offset, 1/3 of Migos, is currently incarcerated (yes, again) for a probation violation. While he's locked up Migos continue to tour and wait for the inevitable release of Offset. In the meantime the whole QC team is sharing "Work" featuring ATLien Jeezy -- even though Jeezy has been beefing with Atlanta's de facto Trap God, Gucci Mane, who as you know is cool with Migos. Anyway, this is "Work" and remember: Free Offset! Listen after the jump.
The "War Ready" duo of Rick Ross and Jeezy join up once again this time to remix Young Dolph's "Preach" cut. The Zaytoven produced track originally made its appearance on Dolph's High Class Street Music 4 mixtape. Listen to Rozay and Jeezy remix Dolph's "Preach" after the jump.
Hot off her successful hip-hop collaborations, contemporary R&B songstress Tinashe is sharing the official remix to her A$AP Rocky cut "Pretend," which now features a verse from Atlanta's heavyweight trapper Jeezy. Listen to it after the jump.
For the official "About the Money" remix T.I. recruits some heavyweights. Lil Wayne and Jeezy join Tip and Young Thug to complete this Southern hip-hop coalition. Now all that's missing from this is Juicy J doing some adlibs. Peep the "About the Money" remix after the jump.
T.I.'s new album Paperwork is set to drop next Tuesday October 21st and being that Tip is a kind and caring individual he is allowing hip-hop heads to peep the new album in full right now. The album features "About the Money" featuring Young Thug, "No Mediocre" with Iggy Azalea, and the title track featuring Pharrell. In addition Paperwork includes feature appearances from Skylar Grey, Usher, Trae Tha Truth, Young Jeezy, Chris Brown, and more. Stream the full album after the jump!
Young Thug to the rescue! It's safe to say if you're in desperate need for a dope hook or unique verse to set your song over the top then Thugger is your go-to guy. And on DJ Drama's "Right Back" that very notion rings true, as Thugger Thugger handles hook duties, chorus duties, and has the most memorable verse amongst Young Jeezy and Rich Homie Quan. The Young Thug stimulus package is too strong. Listen after the jump for proof.
First he blessed us with the ill Kendrick Lamar feature on the remix and now Jeezy brings us the official music video for "Holy Ghost". The Don Cannon produced track is brought to life in a very stylized, cinematic way with Jeezy riding in the back of his Rolls-Royce Ghost gazing at the city streets of Los Angeles. Check out the video after the jump.
