Guru In A Coma

According to Miss Info Guru of Gang Starr infamy has gone into a coma after suffering from cardiac arrest.  He is currently in a NYC area hospital, and will supposedly be going into surgery soon.  We will keep you updated as details surface.

Stream Royce da 5’9″ & DJ Premier’s PRhyme Album Now

Royce da 5'9" and DJ Premier have been keeping busy for the last few months, working on the release of their collaborative album PRhyme. The tandem of Royce and Premo have teased a few tracks, including the intro cut and "Courtesy" as well as the visuals for "U Loopz." The project is duo out December 9th but you're in luck as they've made it available for stream via NPR right now. PRhyme features guest spots from artists the likes of Schoolboy Q, Mac Miller, Common, Killer Mike, and Jay Electronica. Peep the stream after the jump.

  2. Guru keep ur head up because hip hop is not done yet. Believe it or not Gangstar is history rap could not have so powerfull without you. You talked about something,song had meaning. Hiphop has a future still for you thanks for not giving up. hiphop will come back with the help of ganstar.
