Ghetto Gourmet: Burger King’s “Whopper Pizza”

Smoke DZA and Pete Rock enlisted MMG boss Rick Ross for the latest single from the duo's highly-anticipated album Don't Smoke Rock. "Black Superhero Car" was premiered by the FADER who rightfully said "It's as New York a record can get in 2016."

After the less-than-stellar commercial performance of his Major Without a Deal album from earlier this year, Troy Ave looks to bounce back with the third installment of his White Christmas series on December 18th. Its first offering is "Restore the Feeling/NYC" in which Ave looks to restore the "feeling" of his native NYC -- that means canning the hate and trend followers. After the jump.

Bronx's French Montana recruits some noteworthy NYC heavyweights in Harlem’s A$AP Rocky and Queens' N.OR.E. for a remix to his summer hit "Off the Rip." Listen to the remix of the track after the jump. RIP Chinx! Stream the fresh remix below!

California and New York link up. A$ton Matthews (who reps Lakewood, CA) is teaming up with Harlem's Bodega BAMZ for "Window Paint," produced by Jordan Granados. Despite residing from essentially the same place (Coney Island, Brooklyn) and sharing virtually the same exact cultural background (Ukrainian-American) I never really messed with rising rapper Your Old Droog all that much. I mean, in the interest of full disclosure and not frontin', I think dude is super talented and a great altogether MC but frankly I'm not "feeling" it, you know? I always find the beats to be dated and seriously lackluster and I can never quite relate to Your Old Droog. Like, who is Droog? But this track right here, with its super kitschy and ultra NYC-indebted song title, is right up my alley, fam. Droog delivers the goods with "Unlimited MetroCard" which is produced by the always reliable Statik Selektah. Jadakiss and Styles P, while very familiar with each other as they're two-thirds of hip-hop group The LOX, are tag teaming this new track they've got out entitled "Block Work." Needless to say the two go off on this track; bar for bar. Check it out after the jump.

Troy Ave's Major Without a Deal is set to drop in the coming months and he's sharing its latest cut "Real N*gga." The song follows "Doo Doo," a track where Troy went sing-songy. This one, however, is for the streets. No doubt about it. Listen after the jump.
