Until today, details remained scarce on Wu-Tang leader, RZA’s, directorial debut, The Man With The Iron Fist.  As previously reported, RZA enlisted Russell Crowe to co-star in his debut feature-length and Hostel director/producer, Eli Roth has signed on as co-producer.  The Abbot has begun filming the twenty-million dollar martial arts flick in Shanghai, China, prompting Roth to comment via Twitter, “the Chinese film crew [is] so fast and efficient I feel like I’m watching an episode of Benny Hill.

RZA, who previously had roles in American Gangster, Funny People, and The Next Three Days, is also set to star in The Man With The Iron Fist.  The film is expected to debut in theatres in late 2011 or early 2012.
