Just more proof why the drug war is retarded.  Even the successful bureaucratic people know it’s whack city.  Step it up America.  Legalize it.  All if it.

Check out the whole article done by the Houston Chronicle because it’s pretty interesting.

The elderly are killed. Young women are raped. And able-bodied men are given hammers, machetes and sticks and forced to fight to the death.

In one of the most chilling revelations yet about the violence in Mexico, a drug cartel-connected trafficker claims fellow gangsters have kidnapped highway bus passengers and forced them into gladiatorlike fights to groom fresh assassins.
In an in-person interview arranged by intermediaries on the condition that neither his name nor the location of his Texas visit be published, the trafficker also admitted to helping push cocaine worth $5 million to $10 million a month into the United States.
Law enforcement sources confirm he is a cartel operative but not a fugitive from pending charges.
His words are not those of a federal agent or drawn from a news conference or court papers.
Instead, he offers a voice from inside Mexico’s mayhem – a mafioso who mingles among crime bosses and foot soldiers in a protracted war between drug cartels as well as against the government.
If what he says is true, gangsters who make commonplace beheadings, hangings and quartering bodies have managed an even crueler twist to their barbarity.
Members of the Zetas cartel, he says, have pushed passengers into an ancient Rome-like blood sport with a modern Mexico twist that they call, “Who is going to be the next hit man?”
“They cut guys to pieces,” he said.
The victims are likely among the hundreds of people found in mass graves in recent months, he said.

  1. I don't think these kind of actions have anything to do with the war on drugs. This is a culture of people with an excess of money and even more enemies. Even if America legalized all drugs today, this kind of thing would still happen because of the competition and the fact that legalizing it here doesn't mean the conditions in mexico will be any better. Rest assure, if we legalize something like coke or heroine, the US will make sure the drug czars of Mexico would be killed or imprisoned first in order to control the market.

  2. You are exactly right it is a war on excess and crazy people with too much money.  You know how these crazy people got money?  Exporting drugs to America.  Legalize it, regulate it, tax it.

  3. It still won't stop the kind of things that this article is about. Mexico has poor regulations and one of the most corrupt law enforcement entities in the world and it is because of poor economics. The cocaine, heroine, marijuana and whatever other dope they sell won't fix that problem. These cartels are run by people who love power more than the money and in an under developed nation, legalzing a drug in ours in order to import will not solve violence. They need industry like China. legalization and importation of their drugs will lower street level violence in OUR country because the dope will be available at any local store, but it will not solve Mexicos problem. I respect and appreciate your opinion highly though.

  4. If the U.S. ever does legalize cannabis get ready for even more bloodshed in Mexico. Cocaine/Meth forget about it. I honestly believe the crime bosses who are ordering these violent crimes are high level illuminati affiliates. It accomplishes all of the illuminati goals.
