A Tribe Called Quest Added to VH1 Hip-Hop Honors

      As previously reported, VH1’s annual Hip-Hop Honors is going down on October 4 (airing on October 8) honoring Snoop Dogg, Missy Elliott, Whodini, Teddy Riley and Andre Harrell. VH1 also announced that A Tribe Called Quest has been added to the honoree list as well.

      The show will feature performances by all the honorees as well as Ciara, Eve, Pharrell Williams, The Game, T.I., Timbaland, Bow Wow, Busta Rhymes, Common, T-Pain, Keyshia Cole and Nick Cannon with an appearance by Chris Rock. The show will be hosted by Tracy Morgan.

     VH1 is till looking for an unknown producer to score the entire event, with voting set to take place on August 27 at HIP HOP VH1. The winner will get to attend the Hip-Hop Honors event and have a chance to be mentored by ?uestlove of the The Roots.
