Lioness, real name Latoya Lucile Mwoombola, is a doctor by day and a rapper by night hailing from Namibia, Africa. The artist has delivered a handful of projects in the last few years including her most recent 2020 release “Wish You Were Here”.

Despite her demanding career as a doctor, the quality of Lioness’s work does not suffer. The Namibian native has found a balance with her two careers, as well as a balance within her music. There is clear growth between her 2018 album “Pride of CliQ” and “Wish You Were Here” with the latter being a more focused sound and a seamless blend of rap and R&B. Lioness’s 2020 album demonstrates her versatility and ability to effortlessly flow between singing and rapping.
