Some people may recognize Michael Da Vinci from his feature on Isaiah Rashad’s 2014 song “Brad Jordan” but since then the Tennessee native has released a number of other singles and collaborations. Although he’s been in the rap game for a few years now, Michael Da Vinci only just released his debut project “Roses” in January 2021.
“Roses” is a collaborative effort between Michael Da Vinci and producer, Lege Kale or Lege 伝説. The 8 track EP gave the artist the opportunity to establish his sound and present something a bit different from his past releases. The duo transports listeners to a psychedelic world created through introspective lyricism and experimental production. With this EP, I believe Michael has given us something to please both long time fans and new fans alike.
