Palestinian-born Belly, signed to The Weeknd’s XO record label, turned heads with his 2016 album, Inzombia. With features from Jadakiss, Young Thug, Ty Dolla $ign, and many more, Inzombia proved that he’d captured the attention of some of the industry’s finest off the strength of his lyricism and melodic flows. Now, he’s preparing for his 2017 follow-up, Mumble Rap, and released the first single today, “Alcantara”.
As previously noted, Belly has a penchant for attracting A-list features, and continues to do so with “Alcantara” by way of Pusha T, and hit maker, Boi-1da. Mumble Rap doesn’t have a release date yet, but judging by the sound of “Alcantara”, it’ll be well worth the wait.
