It must be nice to be famous. In an effort to get big money spenders and shoe collectors interested in diamond-studded Nikes, Atlanta retailers Laced Up Boutique and Priyya & Chintans Diamonds have designed a custom version of Air Force One’s So Cal featuring nothing but ice. They’re giving the first pair away to Big Boi of Outkast with hopes of attracting some clients.

"People in the entertainment industry aren’t afraid to spend big money, and sneakers are becoming like collectibles," Ernel Dawkins, owner of Laced Up, told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The shoe features the logo cast in gold metal and the 11- carat diamonds are studded in casings held together by a fine gold stitching. The shoes will be unveiled on November 27, and then Big Boi will be able to take them home.

  1. Notice they said they are giving the first pair to Big Boi.

Celebs dont pay for the majority of the stuff they have. Thats how they stay rich.

  2. artist better not start wearning these cause ya’ll know THE BOOGLEGGERS ARE GONNA MAKE THE FAKE VERSION AND BEFORE U KNOW IT MY OLD ASS UNCLE GONNA HAVE SOME “FAKE” NIKES WIT DIAMONDS ON THEM!! LOL

    i’m i lying??

  3. $50,000 For a pair of ’80’s style sneakers…. Save your money! One day you might need it like T.I does now….. But then again it might turn into a collector’s item.
