Just in time for the holidays, today’s “New Music Friday” comes bearing gifts. A melding of old and new, artists like Cam’ron, SOB x RBE, Gucci Mane, Young Thug, Curren$y, and NLE Choppa.

Kicking things off, Killa Cam comes through with his long-awaited sequel to the 2004 Purple Haze. His first official studio album since 2009 (Crime Pays), Purple Haze 2 marks Cam’s seventh studio album, and 23rd solo project. It features Wale, Max B, Jim Jones, and more.

Next up, the explosive Bay Area group, SOB x RBE, is back with their new project, Strictly Only Brothers. Coming in at 15-tracks, 50-minutes, their fourth album continues their exploration into creative risk-taking territory.

Bringing the holiday spirit full-circle, Gucci Mane has come through with his third album of the year, East Atlanta Santa 3. The fourth installment of this series, following the 2016 The Return of The East Atlanta Santa, Wop’s new project comes in at 16-tracks, 42-minutes, and features Rich The Kid, Quavo, Asian Doll, Jason Derulo, and Kranium.

Over the summer, Young Thug earned his first number-one album with So Much Fun. Now, he’s back with its deluxe version, featuring an additional feature from Travis Scott on “Hop Off A Jet.”

Curren$y and NLE Choppa have also come through with projects, Back at Bernie’s and Cottonwood, respectively.
