Featuring Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion, DaBaby, Lil Keed, and more.

With the weekend on the horizon, it’s time for this week’s edition of the Forever Cold❄️ playlist, curated by DJ Forever Cold.

Today’s list is a loaded one, featuring a diverse collection of some of today’s brightest stars. Headlining this week’s Forever Cold❄️ playlist are: Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion, Juice WRLD and The Weeknd, DaBaby, Lil Keed, Drako, and Aminé.

Kicking things off, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion have come through with an all-star collaboration on “WAP.” Two of today’s most in-demand female MCs, Cardi and Meg use “WAP” to demonstrate their unique skill sets. And while they have their own styles, they prove how they’re able to unite these separate-but-equal artistries to impart summertime’s next anthem.

Keeping the superstar train going, another posthumous Juice WRLD joint has been unearthed from the vault: “Smile” featuring The Weeknd. Announced earlier this week, the proposed single garnered excitement from the masses, as the passing of Juice is still felt deeply throughout the industry, and the notion of his transcendent talent paired with a fellow icon invoked great anticipation. Luckily, their collab has made good on these lofty expectations.

Following these two superstars is another one of hip-hop’s most promising acts, DaBaby. Earlier this week, the Carolina standout delivered the deluxe edition of his BLAME IT ON BABY album, which features 11 additional tracks — essentially acting as an additional project. The songs “Peep Hole,” “TLC” featuring Gunna, and “BLIND” featuring Young Thug have made this week’s list.

Staying down south, Atlanta’s Lil Keed has unleashed his 2020 debut project, Trapped On Cleveland 3. The successor to his 2019 album, Long Live Mexico, Keed’s newest tape finds the 22-year-old YSL artist continuing to hone his distinct style of word-warbling and melodic excellence. The tracks “Here,” “She Know” featuring Lil Baby, and “Kiss Em Peace” featuring Young Thug have made this week’s list.

Fellow ATLien, Drako, has also come through with his first 2020 offering via his speaker-rattling single, “On My Own.” Released through Babygrande Records, the triumphant song finds Drako using childhood flashbacks to structure his current perspective — both within the music industry and life itself. It’s a passionate track that has proudly made today’s Forever Cold❄️ list.

Last but not least, Portland’s own Aminé has dropped-off his first album in two-years, Limbo. Following 2018’s ONEPOINTFIVE, Limbo is a 14-track effort that features a diverse artist grouping, including: Vince Staples, JID, Charlie Wilson, Young Thug, slowthai, and more. Aminé’s track with JID and Charlie Wilson, “Roots,” has been included in the 8/7 Forever Cold❄️ playlist.

Other artists to make this week’s playlist include: Juice WRLD, Popcaan, 2 Chainz, Conway, Rod Wave, NLE Choppa, KJ Balla, King Von, and Quando Rondo.
