Welcome home, Rocky.

The travesty of A$AP Rocky’s unjust Sweden imprisonment has finally come to an end — Pretty Flacko is home. And what better way for the Testing rapper to celebrate his homecoming than with a joint performance with close friend and frequent collaborator, Tyler, The Creator? Over the weekend, the two did just that.

His first performance since being arrested for assault against a Swedish local, Rocky took the stage at Real Street Festival — a hip-hop-dominated concert series presented by L.A.’s Real 92.3 — this past Saturday, performing some of his biggest hits, and at least one new track, for a fervent audience. The crowd’s cheers, however, erupted into roars when Flacko brought out Tyler to perform their hit record, “Who Dat Boy?” — a cut from Tyler’s 2017 Grammy-nominated album, Flower Boy.

A palpable energy permeated the air as the close friends’ celebrated more than just kinship and mutual hit records — they celebrated freedom.

Thankful for the overwhelming support, Rocky addressed the engaged crowd, saying, “I just want to say, what I experienced it’s crazy … I’m so happy to be here y’all don’t even understand. I’m so happy to be here right now. That was a scary humbling experience, but I’m here right now God is good.”

While the official verdict for Rocky’s case hasn’t been revealed yet, it will be announced this Wednesday (August 14th), the entertainment hyphenate seems to be in good spirits; simply, he just seems happy to be home. We’re happy to have him back.
