Rocky returns with the crazy visuals.
It’s been three-years since A$AP Rocky’s last solo album, AT.LONG.LAST.A$AP.. A project filled with experimental sounds and doused in creativity, his sophomore album propelled the Harlem-based artist to new heights. However, recently, Rocky’s fashion world involvement has cannibalized his music production. Luckily, that’s changing this year with Rocky’s forthcoming album, Testing. Today, just in time for 4/20, Rocky delivered the album’s third single, “Herojuana Blunts”.
Dubbed a “case study”, the AWGE-directed video takes us through whirlwind of varied drug ingestion, facilitated by trippy graphics and visuals. Both sonically and visually, “Herojuana Blunts” is right on-brand for Rocky’s experimental desires, and foreshadows more risk-taking to come on Testing.
