Looks like pint sized rappers Jermain Dupri and his once protege Bow Wow are back to being BMFs again. Creative differences had been where the problems lay with the duo as Lil Bow Wow turned into Bow Wow however Bow Wow is adamant that JD will be on the new album ‘Pedigree’ no matter what. Bow Wow told MTV that JD was going to be on the album “even if I have to drag him.”

Pedigree will be the seventh album from the rapper who got his start by being the opening act on the Chronic Tour at the age of five.

Big Boi Announce Big Grams EP; Featuring Run the Jewels and Skrillex

Big Boi is teaming up with a group simply known as Phantogram, who Boi allegedly discovered on a pop-up ad. Interesting. The trio of Big Boi and Phantogram (Josh Carter and Sarah Barthel) is slated to release their debut project, an EP, entitled Big Grams. The track list is short, as expected with an EP, but it features two huge acts: Run the Jewels and Skrillex. Polarizing features, I know. But you'll be giving this a shot once it drops on September 25th via Epic. Check out the track listing after the jump, folks.

Chance the Rapper and Donnie Trumpet are finally sharing the long-awaited Social Experiment album entitled Surf. In case you didn't know: Chance the Rapper is in a band called the Social Experiment, which features Chance, Donnie Trumpet, Peter Cottontale, and Lido. Their long-teased new album Surf, credited to Donnie Trumpet and the Social Experiment, is out right now on iTunes. Chance has called Surf "the first Social Experiment project" rather than a proper Chance the Rapper release. Check it out after the jump!
