Big Papi & Hov Squash 40/40 Beef

So Big Papi of the Boston Red Sox was trying to be sneaky and opened a Forty/Forty Club.  Jay was having none of it and quickly sued.  (You can’t even publish an article on the guy Champagne marketing scheme for god sakes).  Well it’s looking like the beef has been squashed.  According to The NY Daily News:

• “The case has been settled in principle,” said attorney Peter Raymond. “We have agreed on the outlines of a settlement and need to reduce it to writing.”

  The dispute began last April when Jay-Z, a die-hard Yankee fan, sued the Red Sox star for $5 million, claiming he stole the name of his 40/40 Club sport bar.
