In the internet age, every artist can go from obscurity to an international phenomenon seemingly in an instant. Whether they start a dance movement or capitalize on an eccentric quality, the barrier to fame has been drastically lowered with the advent of social media. One person who adheres firmly to the latter is none other than Cali’s own, Blueface.
Challenging hip-hop’s rhythmic status quo, Blueface has galvanized his loyal fanbase thanks to an off-kilter flow, finding him side-stepping a beat when most of his contemporaries try to march on-cue. Given this alternative rapping style, it’s no surprise that his debut album will be entitled Find The Beat. Today, the “Blueface Baby!” rapper has shed more light on the LP’s details.
Sharing the release date through his Instagram, Blueface informed fans that Find The Beat will be dropping next Friday, March 13th; the album was originally slated for a December 9th release, which got rescheduled for January 17th, and now fingers are crossed for March 13th.
