The San Antonio artist continues to impress.

Cap Gold, one of the latest talents to emerge from the south, has been snowballing towards a bright future. So far this year, the San Antonio rapper has watched his star rise thanks to dropping two singles (“I Want The Bag”, “Spicin”) and supplying the former with a March-released video. Today, Cap returns by heating things up with the official “Spicin” visual.

Premiered by DatPiff, Cap Gold’s latest video furthers his undeniable appeal by showcasing his command of his city. With an effortless swagger, the Babygrande Records artist frequents a collection of San Antonio staples to impart a pleasing cultural experience. From pulling up in San Antonio’s historic downtown in a big-bodied lowrider to thumbing through racks at a taco restaurant, the Jeff Adair-directed film manifests the song’s Latino ethos to demonstrate how the gold-grilled rapper has his city’s support on his rise to stardom.

For the past couple of years, Cap Gold has been laying his artistic foundation, seemingly gaining momentum by the day. After launching and co-headlining the first annual San Antonio-based GoldFest music festival with 10K.Caash and Blake, supplying a show-stealing performance at last year’s SXSW alongside JID, Flipp Dinero, DaBaby, Reason, Lucki, and Thutmose, and now with his new video, it’s clear that Cap has arrived.
