“It’s hot!” he exclaimed.

Complex’s Hot Ones — the show with hot questions, and even hotter wings — has humbled the biggest celebrities: Offset screamed like Ric Flair during his episode; Shaquille O’Neal looked more uncomfortable than he did at the charity strike in his prime. Today’s victim hails from The Windy City — you might know him as Chance The Rapper.

Stepping up to the death wings, Chance runs the gamut of questions with host Sean Evans, talking about everything from Christianity’s place in hip-hop to the infamous “Chance the Snapper” incident. And while Chano is a fan-favorite, to say he’s a fan of the scorching sauces would simply be erroneous.

Sweating like Maryland’s former coach Gary Williams in a contested battle, Chance struggles mightily while ascending the hot wing pyramid. Even though he tapped-out (spoiler), and will forever be enshrined in Hot Ones’ “Hall Of Shame,” he puts on a happy face and characteristically is a good sport about falling short of the finish line.
