President Trump has consistently been a subject of accusation in entertainment—well, in most spaces for that matter. From the all-consuming NFL – national anthem narrative that he’s bullied his way into, to being skewered by Eminem at the BET Hip Hop Awards, it is clear—to everyone except him—that Trump is no friend to the liberal community. The most recent individual to take aim at the demagogue is Interscope’s Dreezy.

It’s been awhile since we’ve heard from Dreezy. After her 2016 album, No Hard Feelings, she side-stepped the spotlight momentarily, laying dormant until a cause noteworthy enough would drag her back to the booth. That cause wears a toupee.

“Spar” is Dreezy verbal tirade against Trump. She takes her part to illuminate her distrust of the American government and its person in charge; she offers her two cent on the Kaepernick issue; she questions the perpetual mistreatment of Black America. Echoing her sentiments are featured artists, 6lack and Kodak Black.
