The Jungle Rules successor is imminent.

Leave it to French Montana to make lemonade out of the lemons life has recently given him. While he’s unfortunately been hospitalized for more than a week due to reported rapid heart pace and nausea, he announced today on Instagram that he will finally be released from the ICU. Converting his pain into opportunity, French also came through with a big announcement.

Uploaded subsequently to the hospital update post, Montana put up a pic on IG of him doing push ups while still hooked up to medical equipment. He captioned it by saying, “CANT KEEP ME DOWN !! Been workin hard on my new album and I’m so proud to announce it’s coming THIS FRIDAY !!! #MONTANA The music is keepin my spirit alive THANK YOU to my fans, love y’all for ridin with me thru this journey.”

This Friday (December 6th), French Montana will release his third studio album, Montana.

Following his July ‘17 Jungle Rules LP, home to hits like “Unforgettable” featuring Swae Lee and “Jump” featuring Travis Scott, Montana certainly his a tough act to follow, but given French’s undeniable spirit, evidenced by him banging out push ups in the hospital, it seems like he’ll live up to the challenge.
