After his highly publicized departure from Def Jam, it appears that Joe Budden is ready to rub salt in the labels faces with the projects he has in the works. His tenure at the label will always be to many Hip-Hop aficionados a total waste of five years for the New Jersey lyricist. His next album Padded Room, which is being released through Amalgam will be available in both digital and CD format and will feature the Touch and Go track which was released earlier this year. The track garnered mixed reviews from fans, some of which were disappointed that Joe had recorded something more suitable for the club than the streets, but here at IHipHop…we love the joint and can’t wait to check out the video which will be hitting the net next month.

New Music: Joe Budden – “SlaughterMouse” (Open Letter to Eminem)
9 years ago 1,151,964
Joe Budden is sharing "SlaughterMouse," a track that he previewed a month back. The track, initially perceived to be a diss towards Eminem, is actually more of an open letter to the famed Detroit emcee. Budden positions himself as a sort of "Stan" here, leveling much praise for Eminem and his career. The track may or may not appear on Budden's forthcoming All Love Lost album, dropping next month. In the meantime, peep "SlaughterMouse" after the jump.
Big Boi Announce Big Grams EP; Featuring Run the Jewels and Skrillex

Big Boi is teaming up with a group simply known as Phantogram, who Boi allegedly discovered on a pop-up ad. Interesting. The trio of Big Boi and Phantogram (Josh Carter and Sarah Barthel) is slated to release their debut project, an EP, entitled Big Grams. The track list is short, as expected with an EP, but it features two huge acts: Run the Jewels and Skrillex. Polarizing features, I know. But you'll be giving this a shot once it drops on September 25th via Epic. Check out the track listing after the jump, folks.

New Music: Project Pat – “Rollin’ Dank” feat. Fetty Wap & Big Trill

Insert sad face emoji here. I miss old Project Pat. What the hell happened to Pat-ah? Has he lost it? Where's the help from successful young brother Juicy J? Pat-ah has been churning out some of the worst "slappers" in recent memory (more like knee slappers, am I right) I remember this dude used to drop straight heat. Yes, that was back in the late 90s-early 2000s, but still! Here Pat is teaming up with one of the hottest, buzzing rappers out in the game, Fetty Wap for "Rollin' Drank." There's also some dude named Big Trill. Yep. Check out "Rollin' Drank" after the jump... if you wish.
