Tune-in to learn more about the polarizing rapper’s journey.

Hate him or love him, Tekashi 6ix9ine’s reign has been an undeniably fascinating anthropological case study. The controversial Brooklyn rapper infiltrated both the music industry and gang culture through his “must-see TV” aesthetic, likening him to a car wreck. Sure, you know you should look away, for being a spectator to someone’s misfortune isn’t virtuous, but it’s damn near impossible not to sneak a peek — or become completely fixated.

While some media outlets, including Spotify, have chronicled his story to some extent, the full-length documentary most have been clamoring for has yet to be created — until now. Hulu has come forth with an in-depth look at one of the more interesting hip-hop narratives and polarizing figures of recent memory in 69: The Saga of Danny Hernandez. The documentary was released earlier today.
