You know those studies that claim playing violent video games will lead to real life violence?  Well, apparently living Michael “Shagg” Washington’s life leads to violent video games…or so he claims.

Washington, a model and backup vocalist, filed a $250 million dollar lawsuit in a Los Angeles court alleging that Rockstar Games, the makers of the Grand Theft Auto Series, stole his life story.  According to the paperwork, Washington met with game developers for several hours and answered questions pertaining to “his street life including how the teenagers in his gang rode around on bicycles.”  Shagg contends that Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive Software said they would inform him if he was used in their game, but never did.  He goes on to claim that CJ, the protagonist in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, looked like him and had the same mannerisms.

Washington’s claim seems plausible, but if San Andreas was based on his life, does that mean he went around jacking cars and beating hookers?
