As Rihanna etches various tattoos on her body, Hindi scholars are telling the Pop Princess to ensure her tattooist use spell check as one of her recent Sanskrit etchings is actually spelled incorrectly. Mark Fielden an expert in Sanskrit explained that the songstresses tattoo is misspelled as did Rajan Zed, a known Hindi statesman who spoke about celebs engraving spiritual prayers on their body and had some simple advice for those who actually do the deed “We are all for the celebrity interest in Hinduism and our sacred texts, but celebrity tattoo artists worldwide really should undertake some basic training in ancient Sanskrit language and culture to get this right.”
But Rihanna isn’t the only one whose tattooist needs to use spell check, society diva and former Spice Girl, Victoria Beckham also has the spelling of her name wrong too. Shame
