J. Cole Announces New Single, “Middle Child”, To Be Released

Dropping on Wednesday, 1/23, at 9pm. 

J. Cole’s recent Instagram purge has thrown fans into a frenzy, clamoring about Cole hibernating into “album mode”. Hours after deleting all of his pictures, Cole gave credence to fan theories surrounding him working on a new solo endeavor.

Around 5pm today, Monday January 21st, Jermaine posted a picture with the words “Middle Child” written in bold white against a staticy background; the caption reads, “New single coming 1/23 @ 9pm. Cole x @tminus”. Accumulating over 515k likes, and counting, already, it’s no surprise that fans are chomping at the bit for new music from the Dreamville captain.

Having recently wrapped-up recording sessions for the now highly-hyped Dreamville & friends collaboration project, Revenge of The Dreamers III, which will feature an engorged list of some of hip-hop’s finest, Cole seems to have a one-track mind right now: put out memorable music.
